Organized by the National Economic and Trade Commission, the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China, the Ministry of Finance, the National Bureau of Statistics and Beijing Government, the exhibition comprehensively and systematically demonstrated the great achievements of the people of the whole country under the leadership of General Secretary Jiang Zemin, fulfilling the three-year goal of reforming state-owned enterprises and getting rid of poverty.

The exhibition is divided into three sections: the comprehensive exhibition area for the reform and development of state-owned enterprises, the comprehensive exhibition area for technological innovation and the exhibition area of the provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities. With a total exhibition area of 22,000 square meters, it had been the largest exhibition of state-owned enterprise reform achievement exhibition in China since the reform and opening.

The exhibition uses a series of modern display methods such as sound, light and electricity, which is lively and rich in content.
